M3GAN spinoff

The M3GAN universe is set to expand with a new spinoff film titled SOULM8TE, starring Lily Sullivan as an artificially intelligent android designed to help a grieving man, who inadvertently transforms her into a deadly partner. Directed by Kate Dolan, the film promises a more risqué take on the horror genre, drawing inspiration from '90s domestic thrillers. Despite being linked to the successful M3GAN franchise, SOULM8TE will feature a distinct storyline and characters. The sequel to M3GAN, titled M3GAN 2.0, is also on the horizon, with a release date of June 27, 2025. SOULM8TE is scheduled to hit theaters on January 2, 2026. The original M3GAN film was a box office success, grossing over $181 million worldwide.
