Mohanlal's Film Barroz Set for October Release

Mohanlal's directorial debut, 'Barroz', is set to release on October 3, 2024, after multiple delays. Originally scheduled for a March 28 release, the film was postponed due to post-production setbacks and a copyright infringement allegation from a German-Malayalam writer. Based on Jijo Punnoose's novel, 'Barroz' tells the story of Kappiri Muthappan, a demigod protecting hidden treasures, with Mohanlal starring in the titular role. The film features notable talents including music by Lydian Nadhaswaram and cinematography by Santosh Sivan. This 3D fantasy adventure is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas and promises a visually stunning experience.
