He opted for the cash option, receiving a one-time payment of $2.6 million before taxes. Ostrye plans to use his winnings for home renovations and to help others. He purchased the winning ticket at Jay’s Wine & Spirits while looking for a birthday gift for a friend. As a result of the sale, the store will receive a $40,000 bonus. There are still two $4 million jackpots unclaimed in the lottery.
