Kepa Arrizabalaga Joins Bournemouth on Loan

Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has signed a one-year contract extension before joining Bournemouth on a season-long loan. This move follows Kepa's loan spell at Real Madrid, where he won LaLiga and the Champions League. Bournemouth will cover part of his salary, but there is no buy option included in the deal. Kepa, who has made 163 appearances for Chelsea and won multiple trophies, including the 2021 Champions League, is expected to add experience to Bournemouth's goalkeeping roster. The Spanish international was previously the world's most expensive goalkeeper when he signed for Chelsea in 2018. Despite efforts to secure a permanent move, Chelsea opted for a domestic loan to preserve their limited overseas loan spots.
