Hockey Events Spotlight Clubs and Championships

As hockey season approaches, the Utah Hockey Club held a development camp scrimmage to prepare players and educate newcomers on essential hockey terminology, including scoring, assists, and the points system that determines NHL standings. In collegiate sports, Lafayette College’s club teams, such as ballet, tennis, and crew, are gearing up for an active semester with performances and competitions planned. Meanwhile, India's hockey team, under coach Craig Fulton, is focusing on testing new talent ahead of upcoming tournaments, including the Asian Champions Trophy. Preparations for the 14th India Junior Men National Hockey Championship are also underway, with 30 teams participating and selection trials recently held to form the Punjab team. Additionally, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Minor Hockey Association's annual equipment swap coincided with the end of the soccer season, allowing families to exchange outgrown gear just in time for the new hockey season. This collaborative event was a success, reflecting the community's engagement in supporting local sports.
