Previously, Shein's plans for a New York listing were halted due to similar concerns. The company has since implemented immediate termination of contracts for any violations involving forced or child labor and increased its audits significantly, aiming for 100% third-party verification. Despite these measures, allegations of forced labor and excessive working hours persist, raising ethical concerns about the company’s practices.
