PFA Nominees for 2023/24 Awards Unveiled

The Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) has announced the nominees for the 2023/24 Players' Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year awards. Manchester City dominates the men's shortlist with Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, and Rodri, while Arsenal's Martin Odegaard, Chelsea's Cole Palmer, and Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins complete the list. In the women's category, Chelsea's Lauren James and Niamh Charles, along with Manchester City's Lauren Hemp and Yui Hasegawa, are among the nominees. The PFA Young Player of the Year shortlist features Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer, Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo, Joao Pedro, and Michael Olise. For the Women's Young Player of the Year, nominees include Lauren James, Khiara Keating, Aggie Beever-Jones, Jess Park, Maya Le Tissier, and Grace Clinton. Winners will be announced on August 20.
