A 55-year-old man from Loveland, Colorado, has been charged with strangulation and child abuse after allegedly assaulting a 15-year-old boy at an In-N-Out Burger. The incident occurred on August 4, when the teen, who was engaged in horseplay with friends, accidentally splashed water on a woman. As the teen approached to apologize, the man is accused of grabbing him by the neck and throwing him to the floor. The suspect, Lucas N. Kalisher, surrendered to police on the day a warrant was issued for his arrest, with bail set at $75,000. Police reviewed video evidence and interviewed witnesses, leading to his identification. Kalisher's next court appearance is scheduled for August 23, and he has not yet entered a plea.
