Despite struggling with a persistent groin injury, Chopra showed resilience after poor initial throws, ultimately improving his performance. Grenada's Anderson Peters won the event with a throw of 90.61m, further emphasizing the competitive landscape. Chopra expressed disappointment post-event, acknowledging the mental challenge of competing while nursing an injury. His throws have shown improvement lately, with his previous best being 89.45m at the Paris Olympics.
