Amit Shah on Wayanad

Meanwhile, the Hume Centre for Ecology and Wildlife Biology reported that they had alerted local authorities 16 hours before the disaster based on rainfall data indicating conditions conducive to landslides. Shah expressed condolences and reiterated the central government's support for Kerala during this crisis, while also defending the effectiveness of the national early warning system against opposition criticism. As rescue operations continue, the situation remains critical with many individuals still missing.
