A series of violent incidents and encounters have heightened security challenges in India. Clashes during a Muharram procession in Jharkhand led to injuries among civilians and police. In Jammu and Kashmir, multiple encounters with terrorists, including in Kupwara and Doda districts, resulted in casualties among security forces and terrorists. Security forces have intensified anti-terror operations, particularly in regions infiltrated by terrorists linked to Pakistan-based groups like Jaish-e-Mohammad. Despite challenging conditions, the Army remains committed to eradicating terrorism in the region.
