The unrest has led to significant violence, with nearly 100 fatalities reported and a curfew imposed. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fled to India following the turmoil. Actress Sonam Kapoor also expressed her concern over the rising death toll, urging prayers for the Bangladeshi people. The violence has severely impacted the country's infrastructure, including the suspension of railway services and the shutdown of the garment industry.
