The firm has confirmed that they are making changes to the promo in order to demonstrate their 'respect' as his family cope with their loss. The ad was set to air on Super Bowl Sunday and featured Weathers coaching Gronkowski, much like his role in Rocky III. Weathers died 'peacefully in his sleep' on February 1, 2024, and his family shared a statement mourning his passing and celebrating his contributions to film, television, the arts, and sports.
