Indian Army Kills Militant in Doda Operation

In an ongoing military operation in Doda district, Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have killed one unidentified terrorist during an encounter that began in the Assar area. The operation has resulted in the recovery of an AK-47 and an M4 rifle, with intermittent exchanges of gunfire continuing. Tragically, Captain Deepak Singh of the Indian Army was killed while leading the search team during this operation. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh convened a high-level meeting with security officials amid rising terrorist activities in the region, where 28 individuals have been killed in recent months. Additional Director General of Police Anand Jain visited the site to oversee the operation, which aims to track down more militants.
