Texas DPS Refutes Bartiromo's Voting Claims

Her post alleged that there were large lines of immigrants at multiple DMV locations, which the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) swiftly debunked as 'simply false.' DPS spokesperson Sgt. William Lockridge stated that not only are there no DMV offices in Weatherford, but the claimed voter registration activities did not occur. The chair of the Parker County Republican Party, Brady Gray, also investigated and confirmed the lack of evidence for Bartiromo's claims, emphasizing the absence of tents or large-scale voter registrations. Bartiromo's assertions have been criticized as racially insensitive, with accusations that they imply non-white residents are illegal immigrants.
