US Army Awards $1.3B Javelin Missile Contract

The U.S. Army has awarded a $1.3 billion contract for the production of Javelin missiles, marking the largest single-year order for the weapon system. This contract is a follow-on award under a broader indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity agreement established in May 2023, which could total $7.2 billion by 2026.
