Anti-Ragging Week Observed Across Indian Universities
Various institutions across India observed 'Anti Ragging Week' from August 14 to 18, aiming to raise awareness about the detrimental effects of ragging among students and staff. Himachal Pradesh University also emphasized the mental health impacts of ragging, featuring student discussions and poster displays. Additionally, Haryana colleges have introduced drop boxes for anonymous complaints regarding ragging, reinforcing a zero-tolerance policy. These collective efforts reflect a nationwide commitment to fostering safe educational environments.
