Dabang Delhi Beats Athlead Goa 9-6 in UTT 2024

Dabang Delhi TTC, led by captain Sathiyan Gnanasekaran, secured their first win of UTT 2024 by defeating Athlead Goa Challengers 9-6 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium. Sathiyan overcame Mihai Bobocica in the men's singles after initially losing the first game. In women's singles, Orawan Paranang made history by defeating the previously unbeaten Yangzi Liu. The mixed doubles match saw Paranang and Sathiyan best Liu and Harmeet Desai. Diya Chitale also contributed with a win against Yashaswini Ghorpade, sealing the overall victory for Dabang Delhi TTC. Sathiyan and Paranang were awarded Indian and Foreign Player of the Tie honors, respectively.
