Cleveland Police Arrest 110 in Riots
An 11-year-old boy has become the youngest individual arrested in connection with recent riots in Hartlepool and Middlesbrough, marking one of the most significant disturbances in the area in recent history. Cleveland Police arrested 14 people, including individuals aged between 11 and 43, in early morning raids. Superintendent Marc Anderson, who led the operation, expressed his shock at the level of violence, stating he had never seen such disorder in his 30 years of service. The riots were triggered by a knife attack at a dance class in Southport, which resulted in the deaths of three young girls. The police operation aims to hold all responsible parties accountable, with 110 arrests made so far. Notable arrests included a 23-year-old man and his 43-year-old mother, both detained on suspicion of violent disorder.
