Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) is set to be renamed in honor of Silvio Berlusconi, the former Italian prime minister and business magnate, following approval from the Italian civil aviation authority. Transport Minister Matteo Salvini, a longtime Berlusconi ally, announced this decision in southern Italy, emphasizing Berlusconi's significant role in Italian politics and business. Berlusconi, who led four governments and passed away last year at 86, was known for his controversial tenure as prime minister.
