Team GB Medics Save Coach at Paris 2024

Two members of Team GB's medical staff, Dr. Harj Singh and physio Robbie Lillis, saved the life of Uzbekistan boxing head coach Tulkin Kilichev after he suffered a cardiac arrest while celebrating a gold medal at Paris 2024. Singh performed CPR and Lillis used a defibrillator to revive Kilichev, who is now in stable condition at the hospital. The quick response of the Team GB medics, trained regularly at the UK Sports Institute, was instrumental in Kilichev's recovery. Uzbek boxer Bakhodir Jalolov expressed deep gratitude to the British medical team for their life-saving efforts.
