Channel 4 Documentary on Lucy Letby Trial

Channel 4 has commissioned a two-part documentary titled 'The Trial of Lucy Letby', directed by Emmy award-winning filmmaker Daniel Bogado. The documentary will investigate the case of Lucy Letby, a former neonatal nurse convicted in August 2023 of murdering seven infants and attempting to murder six others, with her trial being one of the longest in British history. Letby received 15 whole-life sentences, making her one of only four women in the UK to be given such a sentence. The documentary is currently in pre-production and will also have a feature-length theatrical release, although a release date has not yet been announced. It aims to provide an in-depth examination of the disturbing events that took place at the Countess of Chester Hospital between June 2015 and June 2016.
