Arsenal Signs Goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar

Daphne van Domselaar has officially signed with Arsenal Women from Aston Villa, marking her as the club's second summer signing ahead of the 2024/25 Women’s Super League season. The 24-year-old goalkeeper, who previously made 15 appearances for Villa before a hip injury, expressed her excitement about joining a prestigious club like Arsenal, aiming to win trophies and showcase her skills at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal's Head Coach Jonas Eidevall praised van Domselaar as a top goalkeeper with significant experience and potential for growth, while Director of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley highlighted her status as one of the best young goalkeepers globally. Van Domselaar will wear the number 14 shirt, previously held by Sabrina D’Angelo, who departed the club at the end of last season.
