Musikfest 2024 Sets Ticket Sales Record

Musikfest 2024 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, attracted approximately 1,020,000 attendees, marking a significant drop of over 23% from last year's record of 1.33 million, largely due to adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and rain. Despite the lower attendance, the festival set new records for ticket sales at its Wind Creek Steel Stage, with 54,786 tickets sold and four sold-out shows featuring acts like Greta Van Fleet and Ludacris. Festival organizers acknowledged the challenges posed by the weather but praised the teamwork among staff, volunteers, and local officials in making the event a success. The festival celebrated its 41st year, drawing visitors from 48 states and numerous countries, and highlighted its economic impact on the local community. Kassie Hilgert, president of ArtsQuest, emphasized the overall positive experience despite the weather setbacks. Musikfest remains the largest non-gated music festival in the country, continuing to attract large crowds and community support.
