Dindigul Dragons win TNPL

Dindigul Dragons claimed their first Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) title by defeating the defending champions, Lyca Kovai Kings, by six wickets at MA Chidambaram Stadium. Led by captain Ravichandran Ashwin, who scored 52 runs off 46 balls, the Dragons successfully chased down a target of 130 with ten balls to spare. The match was marked by a disciplined bowling performance from Dindigul, with Sandeep Warrier, Varun Chakravarthy, and P Vignesh each taking two wickets to restrict the Kings to 129 for 7. Despite a shaky start in their innings, Ashwin's partnership with Baba Indrajith (32 off 35) stabilized the chase. Sarath Kumar finished the game in style, hitting a six to seal their historic victory. Ashwin's all-round performance earned him the 'Player of the Match' accolade, as he also bowled four overs for just 13 runs.
