Two teenagers died and three others were injured in a single-vehicle crash involving a silver Peugeot 107 near Exeter Racecourse early on August 8. The fatalities include an 18-year-old male driver and a 16-year-old female passenger, both pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers, a 16-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, are in critical condition, while a fourth passenger, also 16, suffered non-serious injuries. Devon and Cornwall Police have informed the victims' next of kin and are conducting a thorough investigation. Sergeant Phil Brown has urged any witnesses or individuals with dashcam footage to come forward to assist with the investigation.
