UFC Judge Replaced After Controversial Scorecard
UFC judge Howie Booth was removed from the judging panel at UFC 305 after submitting a controversial scorecard in the heavyweight bout between Tai Tuivasa and Jairzinho Rozenstruik. Booth scored the fight 30-27 in favor of Tuivasa, despite Rozenstruik's dominant performance, leading to widespread outrage among fans and fellow fighters. The other judges scored the fight 30-27 and 29-28 for Rozenstruik, securing his victory and extending Tuivasa's losing streak to five. Following the incident, Booth was replaced by Ben Cartlidge for the co-main event between Kai Kara-France and Steve Erceg. The MMA community heavily criticized Booth's scorecard on social media, calling it one of the worst in UFC history. Additionally, Dan Hooker secured a split-decision win over Mateusz Gamrot on the same card, adding another highlight to the event.
