The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for her adult daughter, Danya Kathryn Dewey, who may be driving a silver 2015 Subaru Outback with the North Carolina tag KDS-3461. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots in the area late Wednesday night, but no calls were made to the police at that time. The cause of Lori Pallinger's death has not been disclosed, and officials have classified the incident as isolated, indicating that the community is not threatened. The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information regarding Dewey's whereabouts to contact them at 828-250-6670.
