Japanese Son Reunites with Father in Punjab

In a heartwarming reunion, 21-year-old Rin Takahata traveled from Japan to Amritsar to find his biological father, Sukhpal Singh, after 20 years of separation. Rin's journey began as a college project to create a family tree, which motivated him to search for his father using old photographs and an address. With help from locals, Rin located Sukhpal's new home on Loharka Road and met him on August 19, coinciding with the Indian festival of Raksha Bandhan.
