Motorcycle crash in Louisiana
Two separate motorcycle accidents have resulted in fatalities in Louisiana within days of each other. Richard Zaunbrecher, 62, from Carencro, died after failing to obey a traffic signal and colliding with another vehicle in Boone County on U.S. Highway 65. Meanwhile, 29-year-old Garret Ellisor from Canyon Lake, Texas, was killed in a crash on Louisiana Highway 311 when a BMW driven by Roy Miller Jr. failed to yield as he entered the highway. Ellisor was wearing a helmet but succumbed to his injuries on the scene, while Miller showed no signs of impairment. Both incidents are under investigation, prompting authorities to remind motorists of safe driving practices. The Louisiana State Police continue to stress the importance of yielding to other vehicles and remaining vigilant on the road.
