Sony Pictures has announced the title and release date for its upcoming ocean thriller, 'Beneath the Storm', directed by Tommy Wirkola, set to hit theaters on August 1, 2025. The film stars Phoebe Dynevor, known for her role in 'Bridgerton', alongside Whitney Peak and Djimon Hounsou, with producers Adam McKay and Kevin Messick. While specific plot details remain undisclosed, the movie is expected to feature a shark-related storyline. The release will coincide with 'The Bad Guys 2' from Universal Pictures, which also includes an anthropomorphic shark character.
