Crystal Palace have signed winger Ismaila Sarr from Marseille for a fee in the region of £12.5–£12.6 million on a five-year contract. The 26-year-old Senegal international, who previously played for Watford, scored 34 goals in 131 appearances and contributed five goals and six assists for Marseille last season. Palace manager Oliver Glasner and chairman Steve Parish expressed their excitement about Sarr joining the team, highlighting his proven ability in both English and international football. Sarr's signing follows the departure of Michael Olise to Bayern Munich and adds to Palace's summer acquisitions, including Daichi Kamada from Lazio and Chadi Riad from Real Betis. Sarr has been capped 64 times for Senegal, scoring 13 goals and winning the Africa Cup of Nations in 2021.
