Beltré, Leyland, Mauer, Helton Inducted

The National Baseball Hall of Fame inducted four new members: Adrian Beltre, Jim Leyland, Joe Mauer, and Todd Helton. Beltre, known for his exceptional career with the Texas Rangers and aversion to having his head touched, was celebrated for his remarkable achievements, including 3,166 hits and five Gold Gloves. Leyland, a three-time Manager of the Year, led the Florida Marlins to a World Series victory in 1997 and retired with a career record of 1,769–1,728. Mauer and Helton, both one-team players, were honored for their outstanding careers with the Minnesota Twins and Colorado Rockies, respectively. The induction ceremony took place at the Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown, where fans and former players, including David Ortiz, celebrated the new Hall of Famers.
