Davis, who was shirtless and quipped 'bloody warm, innit?' upon arrest, faces charges of endangering lives and trespassing at a historical site, which could result in a one-year prison sentence and a significant fine. The incident occurred around 2:45 pm, with police intervening and detaining him just above the Olympic rings. The climb disrupted the Olympics' closing day security, which saw over 30,000 officers deployed across Paris. The Eiffel Tower, a centerpiece of the opening ceremony, was not part of the closing ceremony held at Stade de France.
