Supreme Court Halts Divorce of Kunal Kapur

The case has been referred to the Supreme Court Mediation Centre to explore the possibility of a settlement. The High Court had previously determined that Kapur's wife exhibited behavior lacking dignity and empathy, which constituted legal cruelty. Kapur alleged that his wife threatened him with false allegations and police involvement, while she accused him of fabricating stories to mislead the court. The couple, married in 2008 with a son born in 2012, has been embroiled in legal disputes regarding their relationship. The Supreme Court has requested a response from Kapur following his wife's appeal against the High Court's ruling.
