Foreigner Inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Foreigner is set to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on October 19, a significant milestone for the band, which has long been recognized for its commercial success despite previous snubs. In celebration, they will release a career-spanning compilation titled 'Turning Back the Time' on October 4, featuring 18 tracks, including the newly reworked song 'Turning Back the Time,' originally demoed in 1996. The song, co-written by Mick Jones and Lou Gramm, reflects on the band's journey and nostalgia for their early years, with lyrics referencing pivotal moments in rock history. Jones, who has been battling Parkinson’s disease, expressed that this collection represents both their past achievements and future aspirations. The album includes classic hits such as 'Feels Like The First Time,' 'Cold As Ice,' and 'I Want To Know What Love Is,' highlighting Foreigner's enduring impact on rock music. The induction ceremony will also feature other iconic artists like Cher and Ozzy Osbourne, marking a grand celebration of musical talent.
