Swim coach arrested

Two swim coaches have recently been arrested in separate incidents involving inappropriate conduct with minors. David Laudati, a 41-year-old coach from Connecticut, faces 11 counts of voyeurism and eight counts of attempted voyeurism following an investigation initiated by Arizona authorities. In another case, 28-year-old Anthony Daly was arrested in San Mateo after allegedly sending sexually explicit messages to a minor he coached in Milpitas between July and September 2023. Both cases highlight growing concerns over the safety of minors in sports environments and have prompted law enforcement agencies to seek additional information from the public regarding similar incidents. Laudati is currently being held on a $500,000 bond, while Daly has been booked into Santa Clara County Jail. These arrests reflect a broader trend of legal actions against individuals in coaching positions who exploit their authority.
