IMD warns of rain

Additionally, an orange alert for heavy rain has been declared in parts of Punjab and Haryana, with isolated very heavy rainfall anticipated on August 2. Odisha is also bracing for heavy rainfall on August 1 and 2, with warnings of potential flooding in low-lying areas. The IMD emphasized the need for preparedness and timely action as extreme weather conditions persist across the country.
