Amitabh Bachchan Supports Contestant's Cancer Treatment

In a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, host Amitabh Bachchan was moved by contestant Nareshi Meena's story of battling a brain tumor. Nareshi, a 27-year-old from Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, disclosed that she was diagnosed in 2018 and underwent surgery, but the tumor remained due to its critical location. With her family's financial struggles, Nareshi aimed to win prize money to cover her expensive proton therapy treatment, estimated at Rs 25-30 lakhs. After hearing her plight, Amitabh promised to assist with her medical expenses, stating, 'Mujhe aapka sahayak banna hai (I want to support you).' He praised her courage for speaking publicly about her health challenges and assured her that any amount won from the show would be hers. Nareshi has already won Rs 3.2 lakh and is set to continue competing for more in the upcoming episodes.
