Seattle Mariners Extend Division Lead with Series Sweep Over Rangers

The Mariners have now won seven of their last eight games and nine consecutive home series. Julio Rodríguez has also been pivotal, hitting his second home run in three games during Saturday's 7-5 victory against the Rangers. George Kirby contributed significantly by allowing just an unearned run over six innings in the same game. As a result of these wins, the Mariners have extended their lead in the AL West to 7 1/2 games, their largest since 2003.
