NASCAR Awards to Debut in Charlotte

The 2024 NASCAR Awards will take place in Charlotte, North Carolina, marking the first time the event has been hosted in the city known as the hub of the sport. Scheduled for November 22 at the Charlotte Convention Center, the awards will honor the champions of the NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series, with the ceremony airing on The CW on November 24 from 3-5 p.m. ET. This change of venue reflects NASCAR's deep roots in North Carolina, where many drivers and teams are based. In addition, a preliminary banquet honoring regional and international champions will occur on November 21. The event has a rich history, having been held in New York City, Las Vegas, and Nashville in previous years. Michelle Byron, NASCAR’s chief partnership and licensing officer, expressed excitement about celebrating the champions in the Queen City.
