The Fall Guy Streaming Release Set for August 30

The action comedy film 'The Fall Guy', starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, is set to debut on Peacock on August 30, 2024, nearly four months after its theatrical release. The movie, directed by David Leitch, features Gosling as a stuntman returning to work under challenging circumstances, including the disappearance of a movie star he is set to double for. In addition to the standard version, an extended cut featuring 20 extra minutes of footage will also be available on the same date. The film has grossed approximately $178 million worldwide against a budget of $125 million, indicating a moderate box office performance. Peacock will also stream other major Universal releases throughout the year, including 'Oppenheimer' and 'Kung Fu Panda 4'. Subscribers will need access to Peacock to view 'The Fall Guy' and its extended version, as the film is also available for digital purchase or rental.
