Jay Johnston, an actor known for his roles in 'Bob's Burgers' and 'Anchorman,' has pleaded guilty to a felony charge of civil disorder for his involvement in the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot. Johnston was seen on video pushing against police officers and using a stolen police shield during the attack. He faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison, though guidelines recommend a term of eight to 14 months. Johnston acknowledged his participation in text messages and was identified by acquaintances through FBI-published photos. His sentencing is scheduled for October 7. Johnston is one of over 1,400 individuals charged in connection with the riot.
