A drunk passenger, identified as Datta Murlidhar Shinde, caused a fatal accident in Mumbai by grabbing the steering wheel of a BEST bus during an argument with the driver. The incident resulted in the death of a 27-year-old woman and left eight others injured, including pedestrians and those in other vehicles hit by the bus. The accident occurred in the crowded Lalbaugh area as the bus knocked down pedestrians and rammed into multiple vehicles. Shinde has been taken into custody, and authorities are recording statements from witnesses and the bus driver.
