Mike Lynch Missing After Yacht Sinks Off Sicily

Mike Lynch, the British tech mogul and founder of Autonomy, is missing after his luxury yacht, the Bayesian, sank during a storm off the coast of Sicily, leaving six people unaccounted for, including his daughter and several guests. The yacht, which was anchored near Porticello, went down due to severe weather conditions, including a waterspout, early Monday morning. Of the 22 people aboard, 15 survived, including Lynch's wife, who was rescued along with other passengers, while one body, believed to be that of the chef, has been recovered. Lynch was recently acquitted of fraud charges related to the $11 billion sale of Autonomy to Hewlett-Packard, and his disappearance has raised concerns among friends and family. Rescuers are continuing their search for the missing individuals amidst the wreckage, which has sunk to a depth of about 54 yards.
