Ceccon Criticizes Paris Olympic Village Conditions

Olympic gold medalist Thomas Ceccon has been seen sleeping outside on the lawn due to the poor living conditions at the 2024 Paris Olympic Village. Ceccon and other athletes have complained about the lack of air conditioning, bad food, and uncomfortable 'anti-sex' cardboard beds. The eco-friendly design, which was supposed to be sustainable, has failed to provide comfort, resulting in many athletes relocating to nearby hotels. Athletes like Coco Gauff, Ariane Titmus, and Gregorio Paltrinieri have echoed these concerns, highlighting issues such as inadequate food supply and noisy environments. The Sports Ministry of India even sent portable air conditioners to assist their athletes. Despite the challenges, Ceccon managed to win gold in the men's 100m backstroke but struggled in other events due to exhaustion.
