This marks the ninth time Ralph Lauren has outfitted the U.S. Olympic team, featuring a denim-inspired look that includes blue jeans and preppy blazers. Despite the criticisms, the brand's chief branding officer, David Lauren, emphasized the challenge of reinterpreting Team USA's style for each Olympic Games. The opening ceremony will be unique, taking place on boats along the Seine instead of in a stadium, and is expected to attract 1.5 billion viewers. Ralph Lauren's longstanding partnership with the U.S. Olympic Committee continues to play a crucial role in supporting athletes, particularly as Team USA does not receive government funding. Additionally, a team of over 20 tailors was brought to Paris to custom fit the uniforms for all Olympians in under four hours.
