N Muruganandam Appointed Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu

N Muruganandam has been appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu, succeeding Shiv Das Meena, who has taken over as the Chairperson of the Tamil Nadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TN RERA). Meena's appointment as chairperson follows a six-month vacancy after the previous chairperson's tenure ended. Muruganandam, a 1991 batch IAS officer and native of Chennai, has held various key positions within the state government, including Finance Secretary and Industries Secretary. His official appointment is part of a broader administrative reshuffle, with orders confirming the transition expected to be issued shortly.
