Al Jazeera Journalists Killed in Gaza Airstrike

The journalists were reportedly targeted while covering the aftermath of the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh. Al Jazeera has condemned the attack as a 'cold-blooded assassination,' raising concerns about the deliberate targeting of journalists. The Committee to Protect Journalists has called this period the deadliest for journalists since 1992, noting that 108 Palestinian journalists have been killed so far. The Israeli Defense Forces have not commented on the incident. The ongoing conflict has led to significant casualties, with over 39,400 Palestinians reported dead since October 7th.
