Rai and Pan Lead John Deere Classic
Aaron Rai and C.T. Pan each shot bogey-free 8-under 63 rounds to share the lead at 14-under 128 heading into the weekend at the John Deere Classic. Rai attributed his improved performance to tips from his father and new putting coach John Graham, while Pan highlighted his round with a remarkable 100-foot chip-in eagle. Hayden Springer, who opened with a 59, faced tougher conditions and finished his second round with an even-par 71, placing him among six players within two shots of the lead. Florida State sophomore Luke Clanton continued his stellar summer, finishing at 12-under 130 despite a double bogey. Harry Hall is at 13-under, closely trailing the co-leaders. The tournament promises an exciting weekend with multiple contenders vying for the top spot.
